Melda Arslantas Guzel, M.S.
Staff Associate I
Melda graduated from Istanbul University, Turkey in 2015 with a B.S. degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics, and from Hacettepe University, Turkey in 2018 with a M.S. degree in Bioinformatics. During her master studies she focused on in silico analysis of missense mutations in breast cancer invasion. Prior to joining the Giancotti Lab, she worked at the Baylor College of Medicine where she aimed determine the functional consequences of all variations in VWF using novel methodologies. Currently, Melda handles reagent purchasing, supervision of the laboratory related logistics, monitoring general laboratory maintenance.
